ABOUT EMME GRANGE

Emme Grange lives on stories of hope, on tales that tell us we can. She believes we don’t have to change to be good enough. We already are, just by being ourselves.

She spent years searching for the missing manual, “How to Be Normal.” She knows what it’s like to be a reluctant rebel, a modern misfit, a peculiar person. She writes for anybody who needs a story of acceptance and everyone needing a story of encouragement.

Why? Because e.e. cummings is right:

“To be nobody but yourself, in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody but yourself, means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop fighting.”

― e.e. cummings

In our fast-paced society, Emme believes in slowing down in order to speed up to what’s important. She knows the pain of being lonely and the privilege of being alone. Because of this, she values connection.

Wondering how to make friends, how to communicate what you’re actually thinking in a way others will understand, can be overwhelming for her. She knows what it’s like to be close to connecting but just not quite getting there, to wonder what it takes to fit in, and if you ever will.

But here’s the truth:

No one is meant to be an island.

Relationships are everything. Connection creates community. Because in the end, each of us needs to be loved, valued, and safe…exactly as we are. We need community. We need connection.

These are the themes Emme Grange explores in her series, each one is meant to entertain, encourage, uplift and inspire.

This is what she has to say about herself when she’s feeling loved, valued, and safe:

“Hi. I’m glad you’re here. I want you to know there’s not just one way to feel loved, to feel valued, to feel safe. Each path is valid, including yours. I’m Emme and there’s this story I want to share with you. I hope you like it, because I wrote it, for you.”
